Hi,

I was going to post the following links about LineDancer in the New Products forum, but then in one of those happy coincidences found a webpage advocating 'less is more' (thanks to Pup for tipping me off about this site).

Video of Linedancer working here:

http://www.mylinedancer.com/

More info about it and clearer pictures in their patents:

Contrast it with the 'less is more' approach advocated here (& by Vertical Jigging Master):

Anyone have experience with linedancer? Thoughts on the two approaches?

I'd seen the Charlie Brewer article before. The little line dancer thing - keep it. Watching the video it seems like the view on the left who ever the angler is, is just pointing the rod straight and reeling. Just flipping your rod tip as you reel is going to make those plastics jerk and shimmy. The part showing the Johnson Silver minnow, any type reeling is going to make that lure move just as much as that line dancer.

IMO Save your money!!!!

We fish both styles - slider style and "tic" the line. While reeling the jig back - extend one finger down so the line hits it while being wound back. Also drag the bottom - real slow.

Slow and slower out here....At least for the crappie.

If you want to have some fun research the "shakey rod"....Lots of laughs there.
