So Cal I.E.
Got to fish two days, with my buddy Keith and his brother Richard, at LH before we ran into some more boat problems. Fished late Sunday, early morning Monday, and late Monday - had to take a siesta!
Tied my PB Redear and got a new PB Redear, yesterday, @ 3lbs8oz. I got 3 REs over 2lbs and several Hybrid BGs that were "reel" pigs. Keith started the ball rolling Sunday, late noon, with a hog RE.
I used mostly the auto 1/32nd football (going to a #4 hook!!). Everybody that participated in the last jig swap has a copy of the jig that I caught my new PB on.

Last pic is stunning!!!! Width around the belly overall lenght and back in the lake for that fish. Plenty of pics and my taxidermist would be ready for his work . Unreal size of fish!

Thnx guys - this one is going to Tim Overbaugh. Not sure if he has a web site - he has done the world record REs. You can see some of his work on bigblue.com. Would like to get a few more to make it worth the shipping.
Fish is 15.25" - don't have to hold it close to the camera LOL.

Hey Russ - your sure you don't want to come out "on a business trip"????

All those fish are stunning !!!!!! Hope the boat problems get fixed soon. Hope to be out there sometime soon. I'll know more in a couple days. These are worth a second and third look...

Don't forget the custom shirt...
Thnx again guys
We should do good JJ - if the wind don't come up. Another cold front coming through - hope it rains. Three weeks should be good.
Pup - we saw a smallmouth that would have made you faint! In the restaurant marina - where you can't fish, of course. Big cats and stripers too.

Man, those fish are some absolute pigs!

Fish in pic #4 looks like it has a bad hemorrhoid problem. Or is it just passing a Quagga Mussel shell?

Wish I had the funds to make a trip out there. "Research and development" or various jig patterns :)

Too funny Allen - hmmmm quagga pattern.......

You need to put LH on the bucket list - it's only going to get better. Can you imagine a 7 lb Redear???? Or a 4lb Bluegill???

Brett - I'm still fishing in my dreams, already to go back!!! You need to try this too, cmon down.

It's certainly an angler's paradise for sure...

I also know that it takes good skill to find and catch the big ones as you do. Very well done I say.
