Still Caught Crappie! 
Had about an hour to sneak of to the pond tonight. It was raining off and on so I decided to leave the jig bag at home and just fish for some bass so I just grabbed my pole and a little shallow running jerk bait. Ended up catching more crappie than bass. Got four small bass. Caught 10 crappie all together and all but three were caught only a foot or two off the bank. This lure only runs about 6 inches to a foot deep max and suspends. They were nailing it! Fun evening but now I wish I would of at least brought my fish basket. Some crappie fillets would go good with the Morels i found yesterday.
