That's enough to pour a round or two of your UL heads! Those bricks ain't light!

I recently came across a guy that has some old forklift counterweights that are lead. They're several hundred lbs each and he has a bunch of them.

Beyond a certain size, lead chunks are almost too much to deal with - "several hundred lbs each" definitely falls into that category.

Hey Sonny, is that lead stacked against the fence? Looks like most of your stuff is 99+.

I hope that's firewood against the fence!

Hawn this guy is self employed at a large salvage yard. He cuts up metal that the parent company doesn't want to send thru the shredder. ( it's quite a site to see a car get run thru a shredder if you've not had the opportunity. Nothing like seeing And hearing a locomotive engine chew up a car in a matter of seconds!). Anyway I did tell him a 500lb chunk was a bit more than I could handle. Then he showed me his melting contraption. It was a metal barrel that had a small pipe coming out of it. Once his fire getS hot enough it runs out the pipe. Would have liked to have seen it in action.

CH yep, was using candle wax

That's wood stacked (magnolia tree) against the fence. Counter weights are too big to deal with - I wouldn't want to do it.

Got 4 buckets of wheel weights would like to get rid of....

Now that's a stash!
There's a small pallet of MRI lead at my recycling place right now. Wish I had the loot to buy it and resell
