Lake Perris Bluegill

All these bluegill were caught at Lake Perris on LedHeds jigs. All but one was caught on black, the one odd ball was caught on a godawfull green bug.

now that is something I wanna do with the wall in my tying room, that is so cool looking. are they the actual fish or replicas of the ones you caught

Hello Doc, these are replicas of the fish that were caught. These fish are 2lb.4oz-2lb.12oz. All were caught on 2lb. test line. The red ear is the Lake Perris record.

Beautiful mount. Are those the actual coloration of the fish caught? Most of the pics I've seen of monster Perris gills looked more like the one in the upper left corner.

Those mounts look even more impressive in person. Mealworm is one amazing bluegill catcherman. There is even a sign next to the mounts that labels him and the Bluegill God (not shown in the picture).
