Fished lake Perris with Mealworm & LedHed for a great day of fishing and catching. The water temp hit 70+ degrees and it appars that our BG are in the process of spawing, it's about time. The primary color I used was a silver/black, LH used a silver spinner, mealworm fished several colors but I saw my fire tiger pattern on most of the day. LH fished until about 8:30 and took 14 home home for dinner, MW and I fished until 1:45 and snagged another 47....not counting about 20 females that were released with bellys full of eggs and 15 or so dinks.

Umm....should we start getting worried that only mealworm and I are left on the boat and we have a limit if 25 panfish each. BTW when the tank if full of fish and water the fish get stuck on the drain tube and the water overflows.

NO worries there are only 47 on the dock. We left 3 fish too soon.

Nice catch. Yes they are spawning! Hey I'm just trying to compare notes... Since you have so many fish there, how many BGs can you fillet in 45 minutes? And I'm talking about Absolutely NO bones left at all... (I presume you guys fillet them.)

Rt - are you kidding??? Sometimes it gets up to 10 - 20 mph!!!! LOL.

BGm - Did the 14 I kept in less than 45 - I think. Icing them down sure does help. "Absolutely NO bones left at all" - including the pin bones.

bm - you and Mw seem to always tear it up after you drop me off - hmmmmmm

Found out why the flats went dead - talk to Rab

Hj - we release alot of males also. Not sure if we are doing it right but we try not to keep females with roe.

I've noticed the same thing about the lake. Appears calm in all the pictures! You guys must have a blast catching all those fish. Way to go. Good looking jigs too!!

Baitmaster.. What is that "Fire Tiger" pattern you are talking about? A jig? Love to see a pic of that. I use a fire tiger Skeeter spoon that works great at LP.
