What a bummer! First time since I first went out with LedHed that I was skunked at Perris. Well, not totally skunked - one nuisance fish
. Hooked a pretty decent sized LMB and almost had it to the boat (lots of jumping and head waggling -- so fun!) when my 2lb mono snapped.
Trolled EVERYWHERE with Pink, Green, Blue autos of varying size. S. side of Island, East end, riprap, trench, all in 30-50FOW. Even tried a shallower pass on east end.
Zero, ziltch, nada.
Water temp 62-63. Bass are starting to spawn.
