Laborday Trip

Been awhile since Ive posted anything so thought Id share a trip made Monday. Took the youngest son and wife to millwood for a little gill and crappie fishing, ended with 41 in the livewell. Found them in six feet of water and willing to bite.Jig of the day was my version of Lh Auto jig.1/64 Head # 8 hook.

Nice mess of gills and crappie. Fun time was the catching but that will give you a few meals. Nice little jig, Firetiger the hot color?

Lost Pole Ive been using the thill shy bite floats above them, the slightest bite is picked up, on this given day I had the float about 4 ft abover the jig and would pitch it out in the open pockets of the lillies and let it swing back down, you could see them run out and grab it alot of times. Been doing this for the last two seasons and man it works and is a ball to do.
