I have got some football jigs with weed guards. Can I powder paint and bake in the oven to cure or powder paint without curing or do I need to do it the hard way and hand paint the heads?

I have powder painted for years with the weed guards in but have stopped and glue in now. I don't know what heat source you use but you have to have something over the weedguard while you heat the jig to dip in paint. I found some 1/8 in brass tubing at Hobby Lobby and cut them the length of the weed guard and used that for years until Barlows offered heat resistent tube just for that purpose. Now to keep the guard from flaring I take bread wrappers and wrap around the top of the guard just tight enough to not slide off and bake at the lower temp. I don't think I live to far if this doesn't make since just pm me and maybe I could show you when I come over to Bull in a couple weeks.
