Japanese Hornet

Has anyone tryed to copy the colors of a Japanese Hornet? I caught one yesterday and after I got to looking at it I thougt it would make a killer jig. But I don't have any yellow buck tail. I thought maby some yellow craft fur and black buck tail with brownish yellow dubbing on the neck with a yellow head with black eyes. what do ya'll think?

When you say Japanese Hornet I cant help but think of that giant variety they have over there.

Yep Did it for a boss once , only thing he ever caught on it was brim . Used a foot ball head niped of so I could put eyes on each side.

The thing that made me think about it I was tying a fly last night and I saw my leg knotting tool from "Rainys" so I went and checked them. Looking at them reminded me of a buddy over at Fly Anglers online who wrote an article called "Dremel Bugs". He bought the stacked color flip flops from the dollar store and cut out the same shape as at Rainy's and then used finger nail files while shaping them as they spun on his dremel. He made some really cool stuff!!!!!!!

I'll have to pull out my Pig Fly and post it - and I'll find a link for the article he wrote.
