Wadded way out in it this evening and the deepest water was thigh deep...


I'm parked in the lake bed at the boat ramp... All those white specks are a couple hundred pelicans....

Thought you guys were catchin up with the rain????? We are algaed up - big change from last year and they are dropping an inch a day until Sept. Working on the dam. At least the algae keeps the lake lice off. Said they are bringing the lake down another 10' to 12'. Bed rapers will be out in full force.

Naw, we are still in need of a bunch of rain. A good from baja is needed bad. If not soon it will be about a 1r40 mile one way trip to the nearest boat ramp for me...

At least there's some water left. Several prime CO plains reservoirs are now dust bowls.
