That head color is my own creation I call Grape and I love it. Trouble is, I didn't write it down and I have about 1oz left. I'm gonna stretch it out with clear the best I can but when it's gone, I'm afraid it's gone.
You broke the Cardinal rule of mixing powder!!!!!!!!! Shame on you!!! LOL don't feel bad buddy we've all done it!!!!! I have a mix called Screwed up and everyone likes it alot but I can't remember how the heck I made it, luckily for me I didn't listen to Attica and Rad when I first started mixing and was using tablespoons of each so I had alot, but I'm gonna be in the same boat when it's gone!
FM, that was the very first mix I ever did and it was before I even knew there were Cardinal Rules. HA!! I make notes every time now and when I'm happy, it goes in a spreadsheet on the computer.
I got pretty much the same ribbing the first time I did it!!!!!LOL Just part of the learning curve!!
I personally need to get to work with the Pearl EX and clear mix's to see how they come out. and I might play with mixing up your color - the dormant purple lightened up enough and glitter thrown in might (BIG MIGHT) come close. Looking at your jigs I'm seeing at least on my screen gold, green and some blue glitter.
Go for it! Hope you hit it and can share the recipe. The gold you see is a top coat of hi gloss clear w/gold glitter. The other glitter colors were in the base cuz I remember I started with Junebug but I forget what I added to it to get the grape I like. This is the junebug I started with...
Man are those nice!!!!!!!!!! Too bad you didn't remember the formula because that is a sweet color on those jigs!!! I have the junebug so I would really love to know what you added to it, maybe some white with a little candy purple or candy blue? Whatever it is it looks great!!
