That's definitely a simpler way of doing it Doug. The process DPJ uses (and me now) is to thread the grub body on the hook and "squish" it up against the head & clamp it there with a forceps then tie on a feather/flash tail, release the forceps and push the grub body back over the wrapping. I put a drop of super glue on the base of the lead head to secure the grub to it & also a drop on the thread wrap so when the grub body slips over the thread, it's set. Here's a pic of DPJ at it...

One thing I do is make sure to have a thread base on the shank before putting the bait on the hook. Several when I first posted it said to put a drop of super glue just to hold it on better.
