I just returned from a trip to MI and IN. MAN...that trip makes me really appreciate the weather in my home state - Arkansas. Thursday morning it was -8 F and the day before that 8" of snow - oh boy! Water temp today started at 52 degrees and was 59 when I left. I managed 29...mostly big sows staging for the upcoming dance. I checked an early spawning hole and nothing yet but it won't be to many more days and they'll be doing the nasty.

I checked out a guy in Fort Wayne for tying supplies and was pleasantly surprised how much he had in stock - Pro Tackle Outfitters is the name of the place if anyone in that area is interested.

Fixing to catch a flight outta Indianapolis.... Its only 27 and windy... WOW Gonna get outta here just ahead of it. It was cold when we got here, but there were a couple of nice days in the 60's. Supposed to be a high of 40 when we get home. Old man winter just doesn't wana go to sleep....Oh yea new grandpa now. First one!
