Well whats been up with Baitmaster, he hasn't been fishing much, he hasn't been tying much, hasn't been posting much.....well????
He has been removing the last 30 years and 5 owners landscaping mistakes. Preparing to start this yard with a clean slate and make it pretty!

That looks to much like work! I must have giving neighbors because every time I kill weeds they cut their grass and give me more weeds..
Be sure to post a pic of the finished job.

An old boy one time told me that with weeds .. "Just cut them .. they are green to .. so who will know the diff" ...... :)

Not my kind of work ... Shovels & etc do not fit my hands .... the wife would not let me but I would have paved the yard & painted it green .... I hate buying fertilizer then throwing it outside ... watering and then after all that to make it grow you get out and cut it ... never made a lot of sense :)

Have to agree with the title of your post - unless i'm out in the garden where i get back some fresh veggies for my work. Did you bust out the sidewalk by hand? Swinging a sledge is no fun either. :beat-up:

Good luck on the project.

Yup, betcha got some muscle tone from busting slab. And lost more than a few #s.

So considering the health benefits, maybe you LIKE digging?

That is a SWEET sidewalk! Wife is wanting me to 'fix' our little piece from the driveway to the porch step and i keep resisting but, dang, does that almost convince me.

Thanks everyone, those guys did work hard today. Concrete this week is in high demand for some reason, so we took a noon delivery. Today was in the mid 80's with a 10 mph breeze They busted hump to get it finished, stamped and antiqued before hard set took place.

Attica.....don't do it! Hire someone. Today I learned that there is no way in hell I could have pulled that off.

Rad....yep that is my wife's first car. A 1965 stang, 289 stock with the original autolite 2100 carb, 4 speed tranny with floor shifter. She bought it in pieces back in college and I kept it running for her. Then a married her and bought her a car I didn't need to work on. there she sits waiting for a gap in house remodel projects for me to have time to get her back in shape.
