Remember when I first got here looking for 1/128 oz jig heads......................................................................................................................I FOUND THEM! I have 25 of them. I want to have a mold made, so I can keep them going. Holy Crap! I'm happy!

Here is something to think about.....for the cost of having a mold made, you can buy a huge amount of them.

Cabela's closest to me (Owatonna MN) has them on the shelf.

I did some searching of Cabela's web site, and it took some digging, but here is a link - the sizes available for these are from 1/16 to 1/124 oz.....

Also - you can get these in a plain (lead), nickel or gold finish head.

Looking at the pictures from the Cabela's site and you can see the pour spout, extra lead around the eye and part of the shank. For a company that size you'd think they'd have better quality control.

The other thing with the custom mold is you can use the sickle hooks or whatever you want. Yeah a custom will cost you and yes they are hard to pour, but you will definately have a mold that no one else has.

I know a custom mold cost. I'm just hoping to run across a machinist that won't take my leg and arm off, I need those! The hook size on them is a #12 hook. I have 1/100, 1/124, and up. I don't want to do anything with these until I can get more poured. It is like little treasures and I'm the prirate He, he, he! Any suggestion?

Turner's jigs has jigs down to 1/256th. The 1/128th & 1/256th used (looks like) a custom #14 EC hook.

BTW - Shorty's still has the VMC 6147 #12 bronze 90* hook on sale.

For those little tiny ones I have been thinking about a mold that has interchangeable plates . That way you would only need one set of handles . You just remove one set of plate/mold and replace with another. Hopefully Santa will bring me a smithy drill/mill. I will check with a fellow I know to see if he will do a mold for you at a reasonable cost .
