yeah the males were blooming nicely and as you can see we caught some of the largest males I have ever caught. They were on cover real tight, water was slightly dirty and only 60 degrees. I cleaned 5 fish with eggs in them the rest were males. The oldest daughter got a lesson on fishing shallow with a long pole. She was skeptical when we did not catch anything casting and I gave her the long pole. After I put 5 fish in the boat in less than 10 minutes she finally got serious and started catching fish behind me. Perfect combo on the boat I was picking up the aggressive fish and she was letting the bait dead stick in the water and picking up the less aggressive fish. She lost one on a soft set and put her jig back into the spot and got another bite. When she swung it up in the boat it had a hole from the original miss.

Looks like a great time. The logjams can hold a lo of fish, love fishing them.
