Well its a hundred degrees and humid (goes hand in hand in LA) but heres what you're missing sittin on the couch. The river is finally falling to levels where the river lakes are becoming perfect. I put down the crankbaits yesterday and went back to longlining triple tails. First stop was a small lake i usually catch'em when at this level and falling. Ran into two boats in there that had only caught 1 each in an hour. Well i had better luck. I caught 45 to 50 and kept 18 that were 1.25lbs and up. Big ole fish of day was 1lb 15oz. True summer slab.

Pulling curly tails out the back of the boat. I stay around a mile an hour. Ipilot makes it easy. I put 6 poles out the back u catch a glimpse of the setup in the second pic. I prefer the triple tails i make cuz they thump a little harder than regular curly tails.

Out here...
Nice mess of specks RD. Made a run and checked my lake levels. We caught a little water, but it isn't to the bottom of the boat ramps yet. So I guess it's the couch fer me.
