Hi yall I have been looking at your site for about a week. I am
impressed of all the information that is on here. So I thought I
would join and learn a lot. I love to catch big bluegill, ok just bluegill
but I want to catch a big one. A buddy of mine gave me these little
hand tied jigs to bluegill fish with, and I love them. So I want to try
to tie them.

Thanks BB

With jigs that small give them a bit longer to harden up. Another thing is DON'T take them out of the mold by the hook - and don't knock the mold to release them. Best way is to use a pair of needlenose and grab the pour sprue and use that to take the jigs out.

If you're going to powder paint them that will also take care of the looseness.

Thanks Fatman I did everything you said not to. I will use your knowledge on the next pour. I knew this was going to be a learning site.
