Herring Underspin

Just ordered my Herring Underspin jig mold. I know a few have been using it and got a question or 2-3.
First what size BB swivel do you use.  I am thinking a #1 5/8 long or #2 3/4 long
Wire Forms seem simple but pricy so gonna make my own, any suggestions or experiences with MYO

We like Jannsnetcraft Roller Swivels 10 or 12 work great like expensive swivels but at a cheaper price.We like .035 or .040 stanless steel wire."Make our own"Barlows tackle. Hope this helps.

I've been using #1 with 1/8 and 1/4 and #2 with larger sizes. Actually using roller swivels more which are cheaper and I think they spin just as well or I at least can't tell the difference. I just got the herring with the smaller sizes and really like the 1/16 and 3/32. Inserts are smaller, been thinking about a cheaper way to make them but haven't come up with anything yet. Focusing more on getting some painted and tied right now.

Go to Micheal's or Hobby Lobby and get you a pair of these.  I use the 3mm to bend all my herring wire frames.  I have a pair that bends a 1.5 mm I suspect they would work on  the new mold.
