This is a 3/32oz walleye jighead, it is painted copperhead. I did this one trying to make a canadian jig but using grizzly soft hackle instead, after all, it it looks great in the water as a collar so why not more. I tied in the tips for the tail and then tied the hackle down up to the head. I then wapped the thread back down and tied in some varigated chenille in brown and black but you can't see it...lol. After that I brought my thread back up to the head and wrapped the chenille up to the head and tied it off and then palmered the hackle back down the chenille and used a long tag end of thread, that I left out at the beginning, to tie the hackle down and secure it along the body back up to the head where I tied it off. Aftter all was said and done this is what was left, let me know what you think...Honestly!! I don't care if it looks bad, this was an experiment but I'm going to give it the tank test tomorrow and see what it looks like in the water.
