Tied a little something that I hope will appeal to river bass. Used a 3/16-ounce ball head jig with a #1 hook. The rubber legs are cut relatively short and keep the hook upright.

Materials:
  • Black and white HF powder paints mixed to gray color
  • Black and white acrylic paints for jig eyes
  • DecoArt Triple Thick Gloss Glaze for jig head topcoat
  • Darice Craft Fur - gray
  • Herrschners bulky #5 chenille - gray
  • Coats Extra Strong Upholstery Thread - driftwood

Looks good to me . Ought to do the trick. If you leave the legs long enough to reach middle of the tail it will balance the jig as well . The in between lengths are a little if'fy and long legs seem to detract from the minnow look more the creature look . Did a bang up job on those eyes. Not everybody can keep them that symmetrical.

Good looking jig. Those eyes are killer, great job on them. I don't bass fish anymore but I'm sure the jig will catch many of different species.
