My buddy turned a bunch of us on to this band- The Devil Makes Three. They're from northern Cali and they kick @$$! WARNING: It might make you want to get off of your tying chair and get with your buds and raise a ruckus!

There are many more songs that I can't find online that you will love. Check em out!!

Glad to hear there are other blue grass'ers on here! Is my favorite style, but anymore i listen to darn near anything.... i could go on about music forever. Started out with Michael J., to hair bands, to grunge, to jam bands, to bluegrass, to ANYTHING now!! Trust me - everything in between - folk, classical guitar, rap (very limited), jazz, oldies, goth metal....... I just like music about as much as fishin'! Just found an old Dead CD i have been searching for and am very happy. :)

Here is a link to a youtube vid. of a band i used to go see pretty often in my younger years. They started out mixed half and half acoustic sets and rockin' electric sets but have since nearly gone all elec. :-/ Been many years now since i have seen them but still listen to alot of their stuff now. ekoostik Hookah - Deal With It

I have every CD Nickle Creek made, LOVE them and was very sad when they split up. Used to sing "Lighthouse" & "The Fox" to my daughter when she was still a baby to put her to bed a night. Their last album went a little more into an attempt at pop music though.

Bring on the traditional.....! i have a few Skaggs that i listen to and also a bunch of stuff on compliation albums.

Funky?? Thought it was gonna be a James Brown video. :P

I do have a bunch of Wailers CD's. Alot of the jam bands try to cover their stuf but nothing comes close. They played the new Michael Franti song around my parts for about 2 weeks then gone again. There is nothing on my local radio but pop music. :( Latest actual CD purchase was Funhouse by Pink.... dang she is HOT! :D

These posts about bands reminded of a band I was hung up on a while back but forgot about. Im sure some of Texans have heard them... Odis. Couldnt find anything with decent quality on youtube so you'll have to click on a song on their myspace. "Feel" is probably the best of the 3 songs on there.
