Well I thought I'd try to do one of those twisted chenille jigs (Thanks Fatman) and so I watched the video (Thanks Radtexan) and started to make one.Well after I finished the first one I didn't like it because it came out too small so I did a second one and it too was small but then I got an idea and this is what I came up with. The top jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted black, the tail is twisted black ultra chenille with white hackle and finished off with natural bucktail tied around the jig in traditional fashion. The bottom jig is the same jighead in black with a twisted black ultra chenille with brown hackle and finished off with natural bucktail. When I made the tails too small I decided to try them anyway and when I tied the first one on I immediately saw that if I could tie in natural bucktail that it would come out like like a caddis type imitation and after the first one was finished it didn't quite look like I expected but it did resemble something that would catch fish so I did the second one and overall I'm pretty happy with it. Now I need to keep practicing to get this down better.
