I had to try some Auto jigs. LedHead's 1/32-oz footballs full of buggy rubber legs just beg big bluegills to munch on them. It took a couple to get proportions right, but I think I've got it now. Gonna give these guys a run soon!

Thanks guys.... just trying to get as many awesome ideas in one jig box as possible! All credit due to Sonny on these.

I really like that copperhead powder paint. Just can't think of too many color combos to use it with!

QK - If you can squeeze three colors on a head that small....... try a pearl belly, green chart. top, then just lightly tap the copperhead over only the top side of the jig. Silver/copperhead is another.

Dipped some brush today and found a couple. Only 3 keeper size, so they got a free pass. I like the look of the reptile rubber, and apparently they did too!

Had an osprey sitting in the tree overhead when I got out the first time.... then I went to the second spot and couldn't believe my eyes. A LOON! I have only ever seen one before, and it was a long ways off. This guy was maybe 40 yards away when we saw each other. Man they are a lot bigger than I thought! I bet I just stood and watched him dive and swim around for 30-40 minutes.
