Wanted to try the Lowrance Unit this year on ice. Problem Lowrance no longer compatible with Lakemaster Maps. So for a solution.

Cut light aluminum angle with side cutter a slot on each end. Just wide enough to fit over five gallon bucket sides. Use fairly big battery A/H rating 19 amps.

Make sure five -gallon bucket handle will stand up between units to facilitate carrying when hole hopping. Bucket was leaking anyway so I think since everything was made from scrap material to mount everything its worth trying.

As long as you don't have to carry that too much, that should work just fine!

Kid - actually not that heavy but it will be in sled most of time. Have a pull along Otter sled. Here in Ohio motor driven vehicle

are permitted on Lake Erie only. So weight is important when hand towing but this is not heavy enough to be of concern. Lake Master has really accurate maps of the lakes I fish here in Ohio. Makes finding hot spots pretty easy.
