First ties in months

I just got back to the ship this morning.... and unpacked my gear. We should be sitting alongside the dock for a few days.... so I decided there was no time like the present to get warmed up...
These are what I came up with for the first set...



I used a 1/8 ounce ball head with recessed eyes - 4mm gold
paint: baby bass green with watermelon flake accents
tail: Fl. chartreuse hackle, a little green squirrel tail, dab of chartreuse mallard flank, chartreuse flash
Chenille: size 2 Snap Apple
looks like the next couple of days will be slow here.... so I'll be putting some more out soon...lol
It's been a while, and I feel a little rusty.... have to get back in the groove of it!!
