Well I finally tied something!! I've been checking in from time to time but I just wasn't tying jigs as I have been making swim bait heads and bass jigs and spinnerbaits, the last few months. Anyway, I had a friend that has done well on some jigs I tied for him and it was time to replenish his box so I tied these guys. They are 3/32oz walleye heads, the top one is green goblin paint with rootbeer cactus chenille body, and a tail of green buck tail, olive pearl flash, and teal satin fibers. The bottom one is dragonfly paint, a forest green lion brand chenille yarn for the body, and a tail of fluorescent blue buck tail, ghost pearl flash, and teal satin fibers. The bulky jig is the real fish catcher while the green goblin is new, I've had success with the chenille yarn as it holds sent really well but I think that it has an awesome profile in the water, give it a try.
