First steelhead of the season

It is still early for steelhead but I managed to get my first of the season today. I also caught a couple silvers and a dolly varden. The dolly went back unharmed.

Thanks, one of the silvers was caught on eggs(roe), the rest with jigs.

Bucko-Thanks, it's hard to see in the pic but the bottom fish(silver salmon) is the only unclipped(wild), the center is the steelhead. We can not keep wild steelhead. Only steelhead we can keep are fin clipped(hatchery), they still go out to the ocean and come back to the river. Not quite the same as wild steelhead though. The top fish(silver)is fin clipped, so it was born in a hatchery, then went to the ocean after having it's adipose fin clipped.
