First Northern Pike!

Went out yesterday to test a couple inline spinners I made.  One failed; wouldn't spin.  The other worked beautifully, spun every time.  Since it was a prototype, I just slapped a bare treble hook on it.  Ended up catching a little Northern Pike.  Wasn't expecting it, but, hey, it fought like a decent bass!

Nice, we don't have pike around here but I spent a couple summers in Minnesota when I was a teen and caught hundreds of small pike when I was there.
