I played around a little tonight with my horse head mold and poured a few without the swivel to tie as jigs. The egg head jig is from my Palmer mold. I used black cactus chenille and rabbit zonker.

They look like fish catchers to me. Now they just need to get wet!

Try palmering the rabbit strip for the tail for a nice full bushy look. When they're tied that way, they remind me of the crappie thunder bodies on the official RRs. It's easier with crosscuts, but you can do it with zonkers too.

Told ya you were gonna like that head once you fixed up the mold!!!! I like the looks of the horse heads but it's just weird not seeing that swivel sticking out of it LOL.

Really nice ties!!! And yes pouring jigs can be just as adictive as tying!!!!!!!
