For those of you who have noticed Ron Don and I stirring the pot about plastic minnows. Here is the rig I am going to be using them on. It is a little different than standard drop shot that the bass fellas employ. Those swivels are named cross swivels . The duo-loc snaps will allow fast changes of different baits. This rig does work with live bait. But I think it will work with the right kind of jigs or plastics also on panfish.
This rig can use variety of hooks. In fact one of my experiments is going to employ 1/64 oz jigheads. Instead of just bare hooks. I will have to see what slow swims better. The weight you see is made by sticking a wire in a slightly modified split shot mold and casting just like a jig.
Will be used on super light outfit slow pulling with EM.
