dipped some jigs today

since I could not catch a gill even with a cricket!!!!!! Water is high here in Mo and where I was fishing was very dirty. used the long rod in 20 fow and had to use my third color before catching one and then it was game on.

It is a color combo I tied up for dirty water in this particular lake. Today was the first day I have used it long rodding and it paid off.

Those are some big hooks for that sized head. Glad you got out and had some success. Red and charteuse are killer in Missouri.

That looks a lot like the jig I had the best luck with one day last week. They do like the chartreuse. Great job tying them also.
