The big boss at work is on vacation, river got muddied up again so i have been spending lunch (and machine run time) in the back room - when the cat is away...... :D

Top 2 are just creature style baits... so the fuzzier, uglier and more apendages the better IMO. Not sure what the bass will think these actually are, but i am guessing they will look edible to them.

My custom black/green/pearl dubbing is made with roughly equal parts black craft fur and black bait fish emulator. I cut it so it was fairly long pieces for these jigs.

Tube Look Alikes - made these to resemble tube jigs in colors i know are productive on my rivers.

Very nice ties AF. What does each one of your jig heads weigh? The Hooksup heads remind me of the swimming head on a Renosky Super Claw. Very interesting.

I like your jig profiles. Each will draw strikes from the smallmouth in your river. They surely would if fished in mine. ;)

Thanks for the comments everyone. :)

Pup - The HooksUp lead heads are roughly 1/10th and the bismuth are a hair lighter (i cut the collars) if i am remembering correct. I have to say these are the best head i have come across for keeping from hanging up on the rocks and ledges in my river. They both have #2's but in different styles. Think Keith has some other wt's of them as well - this wt works best for me when the current is slower than it is now. The HeVhead... i have no clue on wt. Would guess around 3/16 or 1/4??

Wow! Excellent and original ties! I especially love the 1st and 3rd jigs pictured. Look like perfect river smally lures. Jig 3 makes a great crayfish immitation as is but I think would be even moreso if you created a shellback like you did on jig 1 with some brown rafia. I love the 2 longer strands of the red/orange silicone strips. It adds contrast and visibility and resembles both the longer antennas of a crayfish and the orange claw tips. I will be emulating these patterns for sure. Thanks for sharing.
