Ok, a couple of members asked to see a tutorial, this is how i make them:

Paint the jighead the color of your choice, start a thread base, and tie in some bucktail or hair of your choice.

Prepare the eyes: I used 30 lb red mono . put the mono near a heat source ( i used my alchohol lamp) keep rotating the mono getting it near the heat then backing out until you get the eyes to your liking:

Tie in your eyes so they are facing down towards the hook:

wrap back towards the head, and apply head cement or your choice to lock it in:

Crappie Happy,
Thank You for the tutorial. I am going to try and make some of these. So pardon my ignorance, because I am not a jig tyer, I only make bass jigs. With that said, I have a few questions if you don't mind answering or if anyone else wants to reply every little knowledge will help me.

#1 How is the chenille applied?
#2 Do you tie it first and then fold it over and then start wrapping it?
#3 When you get done wrapping it how do you tie off the end?
#4 I assume that once you tie off the end, you cut the rest of the chenille off?
#5 Finally is there just one size of chenille?

Sorry for all the questions. If it is easier, maybe there is a link for a tutorial on applying chenille that you can send me or someting on You Tube?

Thanks for any and all help guys.

#1 How is the chenille applied?
I tie the chenille in behind the head, then lay the chenille on the hookshank, and tie it in towards the hook, then run the thread back to the head. Wrap the chenille away from you and work towards the jighead.
#2 Do you tie it first and then fold it over and then start wrapping it?See above response
#3 When you get done wrapping it how do you tie off the end?when i get to the end, i capture the chenille, make a cpl wraps, cut the chenille and whip finish.
#4 I assume that once you tie off the end, you cut the rest of the chenille off?See above
#5 Finally is there just one size of chenille?Typically size 2 or 3, the smaller the number the smaller the diameter
