It looks like the site is a little slow today so I'll show a few pics of my morning of trolling crankbaits on my local lake. I wound up with the limit of 30 crappie by 10:00 am.

I was using 6 poles out of the back of the boat.

The captains seat, no need in being uncomfortable. Lol

Now the work begins.

Looks like y'all got it down to a science Scott!
Beautiful catch
How deep are y'all running those cranks this time of year?
There's about a 50 yrd stretch on my river that is deep and void of structure Well deep in comparison to the rest.
Fish are always stacked in there but can never pull anything from there. Think I should try a couple rods w cranks?

Adam, I would definitely try cranks. I use mostly Bandit 300 series. With 40 ft of line out, they will be running around 11 ft deep. You can vary your depth by the amount of line you let out. I use line counter reels and braided line also but they are not a necessity. With braid you can straighten a hook and get you crankbait back if you get hung. Just keep your drag loose so you won't have another "lost pole". Lol

Thanks, if you have a little breeze, it's not too bad out there with the umbrella. Here lately though we haven't even had a breeze. Just the opposite this spring, too much wind.

Roger I've been trolling with my trolling motor. I have a Minn Kota with IPilot. I troll at 1.5 to 1.8 mph. My big motor is a 150 two stroke so it would idle at about 3.5 plus I'd foul my plugs with it being a two stroke. Lots of guys use four strokes with trolling plates attached to their motor.
