I finally got to try out a couple molds Ive had for a few weeks. The smaller ones on the right are 1.5" gliders. I requested that CCM make the molds for these and he came through! These are small enough that bream will hit them as well as crappie.

The slab slappers?? on the left are 2". I need to get faster at shooting these body/tail if i want to get any production. The flat tail doesnt want to stay in the cavity when opening the mold.

Thats the big 3.5 incher up top.

Please let me know if you figure out how to get any production on 3.5 super fry . Especially trying to do tail colors . Shot them with hard plastic thinking they would be still . But nope popped right out. Had to squiggle most of them back in . You do all those nice colors Ya don't by any chance have a recipe for green watermelon seed do ya . I forgot to order some and ain't about to pay shipping on one stink'in bottle . Gotta make it .

Nice looking pours. I really like the slab slappers. I'd be interested in a green pumpkin/red flake combo for smallies. That was a good color for them last week. I think cutting a slit in that slapper tail or a thin v-cut would give it a crawfish pincer look and the smallies and rock bass would jump on it. Smaller version of the 3.5 smallie beaver. Good stuff !!!!

Thanks Yall!

Adam I have never fished any with flat tails like these either. Im sure one day i will change that. Oh and I still havent received that 3x tail!

BLT sorry no senkos:(

Toad i am machine at doing the Fry's like that! Ive easily popped the tails off 20 thousand of them so ive had a wittle bit of practice! The hardest tails to keep still when you open the mold is flat and wide tails (more surface area to stick in the mold) As for the watermelon... If you had some regular green, mf's if you have it you could get close. Otherwise get some dang watery melon cuz you will need it!

Jungle I'll remember that when i finally get your goody bag filled!

Those are nice baits. I have used some beaver tail jigs that work great while fishing in the fall when the shad are at a bigger size.
