Couple 3/4 oz. Pup Jigs

Had to have a pair with the good ole Gamakatsus.Filed the sides of the head for a pair of 5mm eyes also.

Used a natural white bucktail harvested last year.

Ahhh...so you noticed that. I like to paint the eyelets on jigs larger than 1/32 of an ounce. Of course, that means virtually every jig that I prepare for tying. ;)

I always wondered why you cleaned your eyes out Bruce. Those look great. I get a new mold every year, and this is one I was considering. The banana jig from 3/4 oz. to 2 oz. is leading the pac right now. Good for fishing rocky areas with the hook eye on the front.....less snags.

Cleaning the eyes is just a habit of mine.It's a pain sometimes too.Fluke have such a big mouth that even the dinks can handle that 5/0 wide gap hook with ease.If they touch it and you can feel the bite,they are hooked and not getting off.
