Coleslaw

I have always loved KFC's coleslaw. I like it as a side to wash down some fried fish. Ive made this slaw several times and tweaked an online recipe i found thats pretty spot on to KFC.

2-3 bags of slaw
4 1/2 teaspoons tarragon vinegar
6 1/2 tablespoons veg. oil
1 C chopped onions
1 3/4 cups miracle whip
3/4 cup mayo
1 Cup sugar

You wont be let down!

Ronnie I have tried that one and it is a good one. I like mine a bit more creamy so add a 1/2 cup of sour cream and loose the vinegar. Nothing better than slaw on a pulled pork sandwich.

KFC makes the best coleslaw.

But now, I'll be trying this receipe because I luv cole slaw.

Be sure to use the tarragon vinegar and not regular vinegar. It's a key ingredient.

Ronnie, if I wanted to just make enough for me & the Mrs. With just 1 bag so slaw mix, would you just cut the recipe in half or what?

I might cut back just a little more than half on the miracle whip when just using one bag. You can always add more if it needs it!
