This guy did'nt know how close he came to becoming a crappie jig !! !!..:rolleyes:..If I knew how to skin and tan a coon..., he would have been hanging up in my barn....BUT.... I released him for another day !!:p

That was a good sized coon MaryLou!
I'm afraid by the time I released him he would have been tail-less!
I like coon for tieing jigs, the hair is kinda variegated colors and flares
just enough to look good. And yes they can get very aggressive.
I'll bet he didn't even thank you for saving his life!!!

When I opened that trapdoor..he just hightailed' it out of here !!..:D
