Clear Water Minnows

With all the rain lately there is not much clear water but when it does clear I will give these a try.

1/16 Robbin Egg Blue #6 Black Chrome Sickle
Minnow Chenille Body
Black/White Hackle Tail

I bought some of the same chenille the other day, but haven't opened the package yet... Those turned out nice!

Wow! Very nice natural looking jigs. I can see those producing good in a clear lake.

Hackle tail... Are you wrapping the hackle around the shank and then laying it down to the back with thread wraps? I don't make alot of hackle tails and think those look really good.

I cut the feather up and pinch the pieces between my forefinger and thumb and tie them down.
