Hawn think that guy can keep his chicken. Two best dogs as fishing companions I have was a rat terrier and my current dog a keeshond. They respond well stands right by me all day or night long with out a whimper. She lets me know of any approaching danger and has never left my side yet to take after a dog, deer, or other critter. She is a little slow moving but so am I anymore. Has to lick the fish and gets excited during the battle. Never had her in a boat but a great shore and bank dog. Breed a Dutch Barge Dog she love the cold and snow but have to keep her in the shade during hot weather. Most of the time I am fishing she belly deep in the water in the summer. She is like Velcro sticks like Velcro to me where you find me she's by me. Love her to death.
