Watch this youtube video and watch how he ties the chenille in. I like how he does it because it shows how to really set the chenille so it's durable and doesn't get torn apart by a few fish.

I have been looking for him a good video to watch but can't seem to find a good one, LOL I know I have watched 100's of them.
