I was digging in the bottom of my box and found this patch of bear hair.
With which was really long. The smallies are going to kill this jig.

You must have some big smallies to eat that fluffy.
Black works for me too cept my 1/16 #6 mink fur jig is only 1" long.
Locals that fish ties here seem to prefer Slim Jim style marabou patterns on 1/8 or 1/4 ball heads.
Mostly smaller fish here 12-16" is considered decent fun size.
