Chartreuse Rabbit

This is the new UV2 rabbit zonkers I got. It is a 1/8oz ball head jig, with 2 toned chartreuse and white rabbit strips with black barring. I did just want someone warned me about, and that was tying to many jigs for the river next week and then becoming confused on which ones to use and after this, I'm confused.

Thank you all ! Hippel, those are called "Dos Tone-Jailhouse Rabbit zonkers made by Spirit River. They are the only ones that have a dual UV treatment of their matrial, they do something to it to make it glow in UV light and that is the florescent part of it and then they do something else to make it reflect UV light so it have both the florescent and the reflective qualities. Does it work? Well I'm not sure, I didn't really buy into it but truth be told the jigs that I make using that material has been doing really good when it comes to catching fish compared to the jigs I made without it but it could be anything but since it is catching fish, and it looks good and is nice to work with I keep on getting it and I like it.

High-tech rabbit fur, amazing. That's a lovely tie Smalljaw. UV is really making an impact in fishing isn't it.

That's a great looking jig smalljaw.I would have to try the barring on the tail on the top instead of on the bottom.Jig looks great.

That's a great looking jig and good tying. Will have to try the UV rabbit, I know fl. chart makes a difference and will out catch if fished beside chartreuse.
