A buddy and I went fishing Monday and caught 23 nice crappie. We were spider rigging jigs along the edges of a creek channel in a local reservoir. The two hot colors were chartreuse and orange. I tied a few tonight using both colors but I don't know which ones I like the best.

They all look like winners to me. Keep some of each on hand and let the fish tell you what they want.

Thanks guys, I think fish will bite em. It seemed like anything with chartreuse or orange was getting bit Monday.

Thanks Adam and Pup.

These jigs are rabbit zonker Ronnie. I know you've been playing with it a lot lately. I'm hooked on it.

I thought it was bunny. I was going to try the bunny jigs yesterday but didn't want to take the chance of loosing em longlining so I will try them when the crappie moves up close to the banks. Those jigs are nice and the flash really adds to them.:)

The hair on rabbit is a lot like the arctic fox. What I like about the rabbit is that you leave it attached to the leather strip. You just cut a length of 1/4 in or so and just tie it on.
