Thanks Jim - I've been pulling the really LONG flank feathers out for when I tie them on the top part of the jig as in above so that the stem of the feather isn't in the way. On the bottom I just use it as is.

And thre head is killer too with the green and black flake, the mallard over craft hair is looking like a good combo in those colors too.
