Bunnybou and double bunny jigs

The top jig is bunnybou, which I got in the CDC swap box. It's got a bit shorter hair than regular rabbit, but no guard hairs. The movement is nice, but I'm not sure it justifies the extra cost. This stuff costs about $1 more than a pack of four strips, and you only get two strips in the pack. I'll probably be sticking with regular rabbit.

The others were made with two strips of zonkers. The middle one was tied before I got my olive variant crosscut hide. In the future I'll just use crosscuts for single colored tails like this. The bottom one with the two colors came out very nice. Looking forward to testing it against black/chart when the crappies move in.

Fish will try their best to rip those up..... last one pictured would be a good multi-species jig.

I haven't noticed any real difference with crappie or bass. If they do hang on longer, it's by a split second or two.

However, on toothy fish the hair can get tangled in their teeth, which makes it a bit harder for them to spit it out right away.

Nice jigs Shoe. I'd like to see some rabbit in water action. It almost looks too dense?

It has a very full profile, but nice flowing action in the water.

I noticed that it falls slower in water compared to most materials which can trigger a few more inactive fish into biting.

Thanks Shoe that's what I was looking for. I've got to get into tying them - not only do they look good for crappie but the bigger fish are gonna sanp them up too.
