That's Charlie Case. Dude is awesome. I was with him when he created the jacks worm with a stix bait and a BIC lighter.

I use to buy all my soft plastics off of him until he sold the company & they changed the receipe.

Wow, genius. I've never seen a true spin rotary vise in action, does it do quick thread wraps also?

Never learned whip finishing, so use the same cut end under wrap pull tekneek also. A loop of braid on a button works for me.
