These are the first ones of the new year and I decided to do some baitfish patterns using a walleye head instead of the minnow to make a different profile. The top jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted shad gray, it has white bucktail and silver flash tied in for the tail and flourescent blue and gray bucktail tied in to finish the jig. The bottom jig is a 3/32oz walleye head painted a custom blend I call bluegill green and it was made as green chartreuse was a bit bright and baby bass green was close but it needed to be a tad bit lighter and a bit yellower and this is what I came up with, not perfect but close to what I wanted. Anyway, the jig has a simple tail made from red bucktail and is finished with flourescent blue bucktail on top and chartreuse bucktail on the bottom.

The blue/gray looks like it would be a killer fast ripping jig in clear water. Nice clean looking jigs.
